This is the introductory text to Alexander Bauer's success story.

I am also known as "Mr. Turnover" or "The man who brings turnover and connecting the dots" - and this is where my personal story begins. I come from a real family of entrepreneurs, from both sides. On the one hand, there was a logistics company with small trucks, and on the other, as my name suggests, a classic Bauer construction company. Our family has been building in and around Marburg for decades, from highway construction to castle renovations. The subject of "building" is literally in our DNA.

I grew up with it. Even as a child of kindergarten age, I preferred to watch the excavators at our building yard, have breakfast with the employees and soak up the atmosphere. It was a world full of energy, machines and people getting down to work.

I'll never forget one experience from elementary school: my first report card. Instead of grades, there were written assessments in the first years of school - and I was told: "He was never at a loss for an excuse." I still have to laugh about it today, because that was the first official proof of my sales talent! I learned early on how to persuade people with words and win them over.

But at some point Marburg was too small for me. I wanted to get out into the world. So I ended up at a boarding school near Munich, right by the Ammersee, with a view of the mountains. It was a dream. International, lively, full of new people. There I learned how to position myself, express my opinion and make contacts. My network was already established during this time because I had friends all over Germany and even in Australia and other countries.
