This is the introductory text to Andreas Peter's success story.
Looking back, everything seems so obvious. Almost as if my life had always pushed me in one direction. As if the path had long been mapped out. But while I was walking it, I didn't yet see the patterns. I tried out a lot of things, looking for my professional fulfillment without realizing that it had long been part of my life.
I was born in Germany 42 years ago. My mother is Croatian, my father German. I spent almost all of my childhood in Croatia. My family owned a vacation home there, which was still under construction in the 1980s. Even as a child, I experienced first-hand what it meant to be involved in building a house. And this was in a country where building materials were hard to come by at the time.
I dimly remember my father buying building materials in Germany and transporting them to Croatia. I can still see us concreting stairs and the cistern and working on every corner of the house. Without knowing it, that was the moment when my story with real estate began. My parents were hard workers, real doers. I was very lucky to spend a lot of time with my grandmother in Croatia for the first three years of my life. As a result, I spoke the language perfectly, and even if it is no longer as fluent today as it was then, it is still with me. I even spent the first few months of kindergarten there before returning to Germany. I grew up between these two countries, and everything revolved around houses, building, expanding, concreting and repairing. While other children were busy with toys, I witnessed my parents realizing their vision of a home piece by piece...

"I grew up as an only child, but cohesion was very important in our family. I still live these values today, and it has shown me that you can achieve more together."
