I am an entrepreneur, father and unplanned jetsetter since mid-2023 - and I was born under the sign of the rabbit. For the first few decades of my life, I didn't know this myself and hadn't given the subject much thought. But as we all know, we tend to understand life backwards, even though we live it forwards. The hare occupies the fourth position in the Chinese zodiac. People born under this zodiac sign are among the luckiest. However, this happiness is not simply born to them, but is based on hard work. I always knew that I would only achieve my ambitious goals with a lot of hard work, that I would have to work harder than others and that I was prepared to do so. Goal orientation and ambition are two characteristics that are deeply rooted in my nature, they shaped my phase as a competitive athlete and they also shape my actions as an entrepreneur. Without ambition and diligence, I would not be at the point in my life where I am today.

According to the Chinese calendar, the signs of the zodiac change every year. There are twelve in total: rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog, pig, rat, buffalo and tiger. 2023 was the year of the rabbit in connection with the element of water. It was my year! It was the year that changed everything. It was predicted that 2023 would be a year full of harmony. The predictions came true, because I have never been as well off as I was this year. My company is on a solid financial footing. My relationship with my 13-year-old daughter is fulfilling and I even found a new love in the Year of the Rabbit. None of this was a matter of course for me, as there were some very difficult phases in my life - both professionally and personally.
