Klaus Naumann

Film director

SUSTAINABILITY !

"With the right support and the right environment, everyone can develop their full potential. Encouraging and supporting people is particularly important to me."

Klaus Naumann has made a name for himself as an outstanding film director. His works not only tell stories - they touch, inspire and leave a lasting impression. With a unique sense of aesthetics, dramaturgy and emotion, he has elevated the world of advertising films to a new level.

The figures speak for themselves: 348 awards, including 79 top prizes at prestigious festivals worldwide. An impressive testimony to his skill, his passion and his tireless search for perfection. His image film for BKL was honored with the German Business Film Award in bronze - one of the highest awards for corporate films in Germany. But for Klaus Naumann, success was never just a question of trophies, but also of responsibility.

35 years ago, he founded Green City e.V., an environmental organization that was more than just a movement from the very beginning - it was a promise. A promise to make Munich a better place to live, to initiate sustainable change and to not only demand environmental protection, but to actively shape it. Under his vision, Green City grew to become one of the formative forces for a greener city, influenced by local and global events, but always with an eye to the future.

Despite all his successes, Klaus Naumann is one thing above all: a family man. With his wonderful wife Eltje and his four sons as well as his two grandchildren, of whom he is extremely proud, he has created a foundation that gives him stability and perhaps precisely the inspiration that makes his works so special.

His life is a movie whose plot is characterized by creativity, courage and commitment. And the best part? The biggest projects are still to come.

This is the introductory text to Klaus Naumann's success story.

When I was given my first guitar at the age of ten, this instrument quickly became a new passion for me alongside my artistic interests. My world increasingly revolved around music, art, photography and film. These creative forms of expression still define my life today.

It's not just about talent or innate abilities. It's always about the perspective you have on things. It's about giving yourself and others the opportunity for positive development. This is an idea that also guides me in my current cinema project "Everything is Possible": With the right encouragement and the right environment, everyone can develop their full potential. Encouraging and supporting people is particularly important to me.

My father's support during my soul-searching was a formative event. I decided to do civilian service. My father, who had lost his father in the war when he was six years old, confirmed my decision with a letter to the conscientious objection committee. That was a significant moment for me and an important contribution my father made to my personal development. Just like my mother's commitment, who did everything she could to ensure that I went to grammar school and was able to pass. For me and my two brothers, this support was the basis for our later careers.

"Emotions are the strongest force we can convey as filmmakers. They are the reason why I make music, why images fascinate me. Emotions are at the heart of my work."
